What Domus is

Domus (getdomus.app) is a home-management service operated by RegAtlas, LLC. It stores information about your home — appliances, documents, maintenance schedules, insurance and warranty details — so you can manage it in one place.

What we collect

• Account information: your name and email address, used to create and secure your account and send service emails (reminders, digests).
• Content you add: documents, photos, and details about your home (appliances, policies, maintenance tasks, receipts). This is your data; we store it to provide the service.
• Payment information: if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
• Technical basics: standard server logs (IP address, timestamps) for security and reliability.

How AI features work

When you upload a document or photo for automatic filing, its content is processed by AI models — including third-party AI providers (such as Anthropic) — solely to extract and organize the information for you. Your content is not used to train these models. Documents uploaded to the free public inspection analyzer are deleted immediately after analysis.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data.
• We don't show ads or use advertising trackers.
• We don't track you across other apps or websites.

Where your data lives

Data is stored on servers and cloud storage located in the United States and Europe, encrypted in transit. Uploaded files are scanned for malware before storage.

Sharing within your household

If you invite members to your property, they can see that property's information. You control who has access.

Your rights

You can export or delete your content at any time from within the app, or ask us to delete your account entirely by emailing support@getdomus.app. Account deletion removes your data from production systems; encrypted backups age out within 30 days.
